Wimpy's Diner

I really enjoy their food. I always get fantastic service there. The place is neat and the employees are always very welcoming. Will come visit again.

It was decent. Food was okay, my burger was burnt a little bit on one side, milkshake is not the same as before (the metal cup was only half filled as opposed to the full glass with part of the metal cup filled from before or just the full metal cup as it was a few months back). Bought the burger but the fries are charged as add-on now instead of being a side of the burger and same with other meals when asked for replacement of fries. I was not told the fries were additional either. Not going back as the place has been going downhill in quality which is a shame as it is quite close to my house.

We had ths famous hamburger! Service took for ever but the food was good and the facility was clean.

One of the few remaining Wimpy's left in Toronto. Have the retro juke boxes. In Shepherd's plaza which is anchored by Metro. Note that they won't seat you till your entire party is here.

So damn delicious! And I love that they are open late! It's a stoners dream place aaaaaaahh 10/10 would eat again😉

Inviting diner vibe. Good service. I've tried their all-day breakfast (good value), pasta (surprisingly tasty), and cinnamon fried pastry (not bad)

This location is a great example of the fact that the food can be great but if the service is unpleasent, ones entire dining experience is destroyed. It was a simple misinderstanding that could have easily been resolved if the waitress and the floor manager knew anything about customer service. Instead of giving the customer the benefit of the doubt or even TRYING to understand them, they proceeded to argue and prove themselves right over anything else. Probably the worst experience i have ever had with a F&B manager. It would be beneficial for this location to invest into customer service training if they wish to retain long term customers. Like I said, the food was amazing, but the customer service ruined everything.

This place is a hit or miss when it comes to service. Probably come here once every few months. Customer service is okay - usually depends on who your server is. Sadly there's no consistency. My previous visit was satisfactory, except the server we had was very forgetful. Cleanliness is okay. I love the Whimpy's menu in general. I requested that the turkey bacon be made on a separate grill from the pork/bacon - they didn't have room to accommodate at this location. Other than that, good luck! ***Must Try: Penne Florentine with Chicken and Chicken on Waffel***

It's okay. Food was comfort and service was nice. Classic diner food.

I love this place, I was there last night with some friends. It was a joy and delight. There is a wonderful lady there named Laura. Laura is polite, knowledgeable, sweet, funny and professional. She will defiantly have us asking for her by name next time we go there! I had a frequently loved Wimpy's poutine, I love it and have ordered it a few times before.

I love the Reto look and my waitress was so friendly and honest. Thanks for making my cousin form out to of town feel sepical.

Pris: Impressed by friendly service. Food was yummy. Cons: Hallway to washroom was a bit oily and slippery.

The Monte cristo was fantastic, along with the old school millshakes!

It’s absolutely worth it. You get what you want bigger and better with good price AND service. Especially the lady in mid-30’s, she was friendly and made sure you were satisfied with your order. (1st Photo are from a 4th of this month and 2nd is recent)

Today I went there and my server was not a very nice guy. He didn't even have a conversation with me. He just came and dropped the menus on the table then he walked away from us. I ordered then he does not talk to me. Then I asked for the bill and he just looked at me honestly he reminds me of a sloth because of the way he moves and he is not friendly. I rather sonny she is amazing and very sweet. I will be going back again unless sonny is there because I go there often and I didn't appreciate the horrible service today.

This is by far the best Wimpys location that I’ve been to. I always make sure to pop in for a visit and a good meal when I’m around. Don’t understand the negative reviews as the owner and staff are exceptional! Keep up the great vibe and delicious eats!!

Great place, it's my first time with the family and they all enjoyed it.

A great and reliable diner where just about everything on the menu is good and well priced. The hand scooped milkshakes are a special treat. And the 10 oz burger is great value and quantity.

Fresh and delicious food with warm hospitality and pretty reasonable price

My boyfriend and I used to come here once a week from Scarborough. Last time the server was obviously in a bad mood and brought his food out first. We wait 10 minutes until my boyfriend went and asked where my food was!! She brought it out 5 minutes later and it was cold. On top of that, I ordered a side of pancakes that I never even got! I’m highly disappointed in the service of this restaurant. Used to be our favourite breakfast spot. Lost two loyal customers.

Miss ROSE who no longer works at Wimpy's. Food good and priced accordingly unfortunately some of the charm is missing without Rose. Used to go once a week but in last 20 mths only eatten there 4x.

Been here a number of times service is good, food is decent. Can be noisey at times.

Took my friend here because I've never been disappointed when I come to eat. Of course I take her & her steak was so dry & overcooked. She wanted it medium-rare. & Our waitress was nice at first but after 20 minutes of my friend & I just finally sitting at the table we were at, the waitress gives us the bill saying she has to go. We understand but we just wanted to finish our food, she got rude about it & said we are her last customers & we have to pay for our food so she can go home right away & she wouldn't leave us alone about it. So when we paid. Stayed to finish our food, talked. Just before we leave, I needed to use the washroom, the waitress was starting to serve NEW customers. My friends feedback: "This place is horrible."

The food was great! The staff were very friendly, thoughtful and professional. Also the restaurant is family friendly and is wheel chair accessable. This location however, is fairly small and cannot accomodate too many people.

Must try the chicken shish kabob! The cooked peppers and onions that come with it are SO good, and the tzatziki sauce too! Make sure for the salad you get creamy salad dressing!

Does the OWNER of this restaurant not care about their customers? I go to this wimpys all the time but after seeing these awful responses to customers from the owner; ex. "That comment "annoyed" me, dont come back, telling customers they are lying etc. Clearly he/she does not receive criticism well. The fact that they respond in such a rude, uncaring and UNPROFESSIONAL matter is why you should not put money in their pockets.

The portions are excellent. The prices reasonalble. The coffee needs work.

Every so often I get a craving for a club and this is the place I go. Attractively built, fresh, large, and tastes perfect. They also serve my kind of fries - perfectly old-school sized, none of those thin curly things or big slabs of potato. Can't comment on any of the other items but I'd feel confident ordering anything since they do the club right. Usually take out instead of delivery because Skip can take a long while.

I love the old music machine, although it’s not working anymore. The retro look of the place is very nice, the food tasty.

I love Wimpy's and go there every chance I get. I had their delicious Fish'n Chips last time. The portion was huge, the gravy was amazing and the fish was simply scrumptious and cooked to perfection!!! The staff is always friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend Wimp's Diner. ❤

Diner in the Bathurst and Sheppard plaza. Great food options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and good portion sizes. Good, quick and friendly service. Prices are reasonable for a diner. I had the roast beef sandwich, my friend had a chicken souvlaki wrap, we were both satisfied. #restaurant #diner

Always go there great and delicious food and the waitress need to pay more attention on the costumers. Offering coffee or if everything is ok. One thing definitely need major attention is the air conditioning on the main entrance! I brought need guests to that location and the water was dripping from the ac on the ceiling right in our table and on the glass of water of my friend . Please and thank you

Don't have to wait long for your food

If you're not worried about your weight, by all means, come on down.The 1950s retro look enhances your dining experience. A juke box (Google it) greets you at the door. Unfortunately, it does not work. The coin slot is not taped over but you can drop in your coins, if you believe in pre-tipping.Food portions are large and well priced.Doggy bags are provided on request so your dog can also enjoy the food.Staff are helpful and friendly.However, don't offer to gladly pay them Tuesday for a hamburger today (Google that too).

First time coming here, everything tasted great and well made. My food arrived in time, the waiters were really nice. Overall a great place. Definitely going to recommend coming here atleast once.

Clean, friendly environment.Upon walking in you will feel you've warped in time to the 50's. Vast selection on menu at good pricing.Staff is very attentive. Worth a visit.

Had an awesome post New Year welcome 2020 with my two babies. (Errr teenagers) the food was diner approved and we had lots of leftovers and take home milk shake. Didn’t hurt that the waitresses paid me the biggest compliment saying I looked like the boy’s sister and too young to have two giant teenage boys 😁🤞😂 advice to sales people. We buy from those we like! Pay a sincere compliment 💗💗💗
